My name is Miranda Hoover and I’m a freelance illustrator!

I became an illustrator because art makes my heart go thump!

I love fun, feel-good images–especially ones that tell a story. Most of my work caters to children, young adults, and children-at-heart. I enjoy working in a comic or graphic novel style, and someday hope to create my own webcomic!

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. My favorite things are rain, green trees, pink trees, IPAs, and anything fluffy. I enjoy many creative outlets, including Dungeons & Dragons and crochet.
